I’d seen some buzz about Spoiler Alert but it didn’t really land on my radar until recently and if this book isn’t on your tbr add it immediately and move it straight to the top!
To start, I love the cover! It’s beautiful in every way and accurately portrays the main protagonist. April is a plus size geologist who loves to write fan fiction of her favorite show. Marcus (our love interest) is one of the stars of that show and secretly posts fan fiction of his own!
When April posts a picture of herself in costume of a character from the show it goes viral and Marcus catches wind of hateful comments. He asks her out to shut up the haters but what happens next is so serendipitous you have to “read it to believe it”!
I gave this 5 stars and felt Dade did a lot right with this book and I can’t wait to dive into her next one!
